Richard Bell

Richard is an experienced commercial lawyer and a renowned civil and commercial litigator, often succeeding against much larger corporate and commercial firms and taking cases as far as the Court of Appeal.

Richard qualified as a solicitor in 1968 with March Pearson & Green (now incorporated in Pannone LLP) following which he joined the company law department of Theodore Goddard & Co. (now incorporated in Addleshaw Goddard) in the City of London. After a brief spell dealing with matrimonial and criminal litigation in the Lake District, Richard moved to a Leeds firm specialising in commercial and intellectual property law.

Richard lives in Timperley with his wife and daughter and enjoys outdoor pursuits and boating..

Maggi Potts

Maggi is a specialist residential conveyancer who has many years’ experience within private practice.

From working as a P.A. to a solicitor in the 1980s, Maggi gradually built up her experience and began to handle her own conveyancing caseload. In the 1990s, Maggi moved entirely to a fee-earning role.

Maggi deals with all aspects of residential property and assists on the property aspects of commercial matters.

Maggi lives in Gawsworth and enjoys horse riding, skiing and keeping fit.

Solicitor

Andrew Marsden

Andrew deals mainly with property issues, having extensive experience in acquisitions and disposals, commercial leases, property finance, leasehold transactions, portfolio sales and purchases and property aspects of corporate transactions. He also acts in connection with landlord and tenant disputes, relating to both commercial and residential properties. In addition he has considerable experience in general commercial matters, having acted in acquisitions and sales of owner managed businesses. Andrew prides himself on trying to find a commercial solution in each individual case.

Andrew qualified as a solicitor in 1990, and was then a partner in several small practices before joining Legal 500 firm Colemans Ctts, where he was head of the Manchester Property Department.

Nicola Moseley

Nicola is an experienced residential conveyancer.

She started her career in 2004, at the Legal 500 firm, Olliers solicitors, where she worked as a legal clerk in the Crown Court department. She undertook her training contract at the firm and qualified as a solicitor in May 2009. Following qualification, Nicola practised criminal defence law undertaking cases from investigation to its conclusion in either the Magistrates or Crown Court.

In 2015, Nicola joined Haworth Holt Bell, working alongside Maggi in the Conveyancing department. She practices all aspects of residential property and is currently extending her area of practice to Private Client. She is an Affiliate of the highly regarded Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners.

Nicola lives with her husband and two children in Sale and when she is not playing taxi driver to her children, she enjoys running and baking.
